Chess and Art:
Chess is not always a right-brained activity. In fact, Grandmasters say there is quite a bit of creativity required to be a great player. Chess doesn't have to be hard or competitive, sometimes it can just be silly and fun!
Over the Chessboard partners with galleries for Parties, Art Openings, and general fun playing and watching chess games.
Donation-only events!
More details soon.
Contact Jessica if you are interested in partnering with Over The Chessboard for a Chess Party (blitz? twister over the chessboard?)
Chess at Your School:
Do you want a chess club at your school? Contact us to organize a successful and fun program specifically designed for your school. Also available: math/chess classes once a week during class time. Studies show that playing chess greatly improves math and reading scores.
